Alan 'Lee' Schooley

      BRIGHTON - Alan "Lee" Schooley, 73, of Brighton died at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Brighton United Church, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 25, with the family present from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County and Brighton United Church.

      Mr. Schooley was born in Brighton, March 6, 1931, to J. Laton and Gladys F. (Grant) Schooley. He married Shirley Speidel in Brighton, June 26, 1955.
