Albert Adolpheous Mathews
NEW LONDON-Albert Adolpheous Mathews, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, at Elliott Chapel in New London, with the Rev. Matt Miller officiating. Cremains will be buried in Burge Cemetery in New London, at a later date. Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m., today, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Mt. Pleasant Public Library or a charity of one's choosing.
Mr. Mathews was born on Feb. 11, 1911, in Hereford, Colo., to Glen Adolpheous and Jessie Bell (Garrels) Mathews.
