Alene L. Millice
WELLMAN-Alene L. Millice, 88, of Wellman, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, of cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, with the Rev. Marlene Janssen officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the hospice of one's choice, and the Holden Cancer Center of Iowa City.
Mrs. Millice was born on Jan. 24, 1915, near Frytown, to George V. and Nellie Marie (Crow) Fry. She married Chase Millice on June 10, 1938, in Frytown.
