Alexandria Edwards

WINFIELD ? Alexandria Bethann Edwards, 24, of Houghton, died Saturday, May 7, 2016, in rural Conesville as the result of a car accident.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 13, at the United Methodist Church in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Melanie Greengo officiating. Burial will follow at the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the church. Memorials have been established for 4-H and FFA. Honts Funeral Home in Winfield is in charge of the arrangements.

Alexandria was born Jan. 9, 1992, in Iowa City, the daughter of Rob and Jodi Edwards.

She was a graduate of the Columbus Junction Community School and Iowa State University. She was working as a beef specialist at Quality Plus Feed in St. Paul. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Columbus Junction. She was very active in 4-H and FFA, and a member of ISBBA. She loved showing cattle at the local and state fairs.

Surviving are her parents, of Columbus Junction; one brother, Austin Edwards of Columbus junction; her grandparents, Bill and Helen Edwards of Ainsworth, and Susan Clark and Denny Pine of Columbus City; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents; and one cousin.
