Alfred L. Bailey

      LETTS - Alfred L. Bailey, 67, of Letts died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006 in the Washington County Hospital of pancreatic cancer.

      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Mr. Bailey requested all who attend dress casually. Burial will be in the Letts Cemetery with military honors by the combined units of VFW Post No. 1565 and American Legion Post No. 27. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Bailey was born June 11, 1939 in Greenwich, New York, the son of Leroy and Helen Margaret (Crowley) Bailey. He married Theresa Ennello on Aug. 11, 1962.
