Alice B. Goff

      Alice B. Goff, 94, of Washington, died Monday, May 3, 2004, at United Presbyterian Home in Washington.

      Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials in the name of Alice B. Goff may be designated to the American Heart Association.

      Alice was born on Feb. 12, 1910, in Washington, the daughter of Arthur and Bessie (Ritchey) Wead. She attended rural school and graduated from Washington High School in 1927. She graduated with a teaching certificate from Iowa State College in Ames, and taught in rural school for two years. She was united in marriage to Clarence W. Goff on April 16, 1932, in Washington.
