Alice Edgar

      Alice Edgar, 94, of Washington, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at United Presbyterian Home in Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the United Church of Crawfordsville in Crawfordsville, with Larry Fletcher and the Rev. Nancy Oehler officiating. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 that evening. Memorials may be directed to the United Church of Crawfordsville or United Presbyterian Home.

      Mrs. Edgar was born on Sept. 10, 1910, in Washington County, to William Clark and Mary Allie (Wilkin) Hotle. On May 27, 1931, she married William H. Edgar in Crawfordsville.
