Alice Jean Hiatt

      Alice Jean Hiatt, 77, of Fairfield, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center in Fairfield.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Francis Hendricksen officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

      Memorials have been established to the American Diabetes Association and American Cancer Society.

      Mrs. Hiatt was born Sept. 6, 1931, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Louis and Clara Ishmael Shoemaker. She married Edwin D. Fiedler Nov. 11, 1949, in Ottumwa. He died April 17, 1972. She married Robert Hiatt Jan. 24, 1976, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.
