Alice Mae Ames Hopper

Alice Mae Ames Hopper, 88, of Fairfield, died today, Thursday, March 19, 2009, at her daughter?s home in Brighton.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Green City, Mo., with the Rev. Mike Davis officiating.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. Hopper was born May 2, 1920, in Green City, Mo., the daughter of Clarence and Ruth Bolander Ames. She married Luther Hopper Oct. 9, 1942, in Green City. He died May 18, 1992.
