Alice Marie Ahmling

      Alice Marie Ahmling, 83, of Washington died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 in the Washington County Hospital following a long period of declining health.

      Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Sue Meade officiating. The body has been cremated and will be interred in the Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service time. Memorials may be made to the video ministry in the United Methodist Church.

      Mrs. Ahmling was born July 9, 1923 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Roy Melville and Singne (Lindbloom) Finke. She married Magnus Ahmling on Aug. 22, 1957 in St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Washington.
