Alice R. Davidson

      Alice R. Davidson, 102, of Washington, Iowa, died today, Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at United Presbyterian Home in Washington.

      A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Sue Meade officiating. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb, Ill.

      Visitation will begin at noon Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

      A memorial has been established for United Presbyterian Home.

      Mrs. Davidson was born Nov. 27, 1906, in McDonough County, Ill., the daughter of Clarence Edward and Ocie Dell Mason Vogler. She married Lloyd Davidson Jan. 5, 1926. He died in 1962.
