Allan S. Ring May 9, 1915 - November 30 , 2003

Allan S. Ring, 88, of Faribault, Minn., died on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Infinia Health Care of Faribault, Minn.

      The funeral service was at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault, with his grandson, the Rev. Alexander Ring, pastor of Parkland Lutheran Church in Tacoma, Wash. officiating. Burial was in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery in Faribault.

      Survivors include three sons, Kenneth and his wife Marie Ring of Dallas, Texas, Gerald and husband Wayne Ring of Dillsburg, Pa., Robert Ring of Medford; three daughters, Karen and her husband Richard Clark of Corona, Calif., Susan and her husband John Powell of Owatonna, Minn., and Gayle and her husband Hansel Stack of Canton, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Audrey Helms of Stuttgart, Ark.

      In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Doris; a daughter-in-law, Jae Ring; two brothers, Winsor and Austin Ring; and a sister, Loraine Eisen.
