Allen D. Molander
WINFIELD - Allen D. Molander, 76, of rural Crawfordsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at his home, after a three-year battle with Lou Gehrig's disease.
In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the Olds United Church of Christ in Olds with Elaine Vass and Jim Luder officiating. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Central Iowa. Honts Funeral Home in Winfield is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Molander was born Sept. 20, 1932, north of Mount Pleasant. He married Joyce Martin in 1954.
