Allen M. Yoder

      KALONA - Allen M. Yoder, 86, of Wellman, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, in the Sharon Center United Methodist Church in Kalona with the Rev. Doug Cue officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Center Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Memorials may be made to the Sharon Center United Methodist Church choir or organ fund or the Hospice of Iowa City.

      Mr. Yoder was born May 12, 1922, in Rice County, Kan., the son of Levi M. and Tillie (Yoder) Yoder. He married Genevieve L. Schwartzendruber on Jan. 19, 1947 in McPherson, Kan.
