Alma E. Oswald
KALONA-Alma E. Oswald, 89, of Kalona, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev. Don Patterson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Beemer Cemetery in Beemer, Neb. Memorials may be directed to Beemer Mennonite Women Society or Water for Life.
Mrs. Oswald was born on July 20, 1915, in Pomeroy, to Carl and Anna (Egli) Bohn. On June 4, 1941, she married Raymond Oswald in Manson.
