Alma L. Spilger

      Alma L. Spilger, 86, of Brighton, died at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Washington Care Center in Washington, Iowa.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton, with the Rev. Fred Weiss officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Palmer, Neb., with the Rev. Dean Elmore officiating.

      Visitation with the family will be from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 1690 330th St., Brighton 52540.

      Mrs. Spilger was born Jan. 16, 1922, in Torrington, Wyo., the daughter of Murl Ross and Lottie Marie Marsh Coen. She married Paul L. Spilger Nov. 22, 1943, near Palmer, Neb. He died Oct. 19, 2001.
