Alma Wagner May 13, 1909 - July 4, 2003

      Alma Wagner, 94, of New London, formerly of West Burlington, died at 11:25 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2003, at the New London Nursing and Rehab Center.

      The funeral service was at 1:30 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Matt Miller officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the New London Nursing and Rehab Center.

      Survivors include three granddaughters, Sherry Pitkowicz and Patty Hallead, both of Michigan; and Connie Daniels of Des Moines; two grandsons, Harold "Buzz" Wagner of Burlington, and Randy Wagner of Mt. Pleasant; 13 great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two daughters, a stepson, a son-in-law and a grandson.
