Almeta L. Simkin, 96, of Salem, died Monday, March 26, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Tuesday, April 3, at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Harold Dorsey officiating. Burial will be in the Salem South Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Monday, April 2, at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home. A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home.
