Alvin R. Tervelt
QUINCY, Ill. - Alvin R. Tervelt, 93, of Quincy, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, in Good Samaritan Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, in Hansen-Spear Funeral home in Quincy with the Rev. Mike Duffy and the Rev. Steve Disseler officiating. Burial will be in Fenton Cemetery, Fenton, Ill. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Mr. Tervelt was born Aug. 10, 1914, in Fenton, Ill. the son of Coe and Grace (Housenga) Tervelt. He married Ruth Pietenpol on June 4, 1938, in Pella.
