Alvin Walter Acord
WELLMAN - Alvin Walter Acord, 86, of Wellman, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services were held today at the Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd in Wellman, with the Rev. Donald Lutz officiating. Burial was in the Wellman Cemetery, with military rites. Memorial funds for the Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd and the Wellman Senior Center have been established.
