Ambrose Joseph Kron

RIVERSIDE - Ambrose Joseph Kron, 86, of Riverside died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Atrium Village in Hills, following a brief illness.

      A Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 9, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside, with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Riverside. Following committal services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at St. Mary's Parish Center. Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 8, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Riverside, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. A general memorial has been established.

      Mr. Kron was born Sept. 29, 1919, in Washington County, to Louis Martin and Leocadia (Sueppel) Kron. He married Gladys Agnes Metz on Sept 29, 1941, in Riverside. She preceded him in death in 2004.
