Ann Carole Maurina

Ann Carole Maurina, 67, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004, at the Holland Home Hospice Center in Grand Rapids, Mich.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26 at Mayfair Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids with the Rev. Wilmer Witte officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Zaagman Memorial Chapel in Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Wildlife Rehab Center at 1504 Union N.E., Grand Rapids, Mich., 49503.

      Mrs. Maurina was born Jan. 16, 1937, in Traverse City, Mich., the daughter of Ronald Michael and Ruby Irene Monroe Hinshaw.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Darrell Todd and his wife Anne Boheon Maurina of Clovis, N.M. and formerly of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Ruth and her husband William Himberg of Naples, Fla., and Janice Rinal of Interlochen, Mich.; and a brother, Thomas Hinshaw of Harbor Springs, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Richard Rinal.
