Ann Marie Chalupa

      Ann Marie Chalupa, 71, of Washington, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at home, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Family visitation will begin one hour prior to service time on Wednesday, at the funeral home. memorials may be directed to Washington County Hospice or First Christian Church in Washington.

      Mrs. Chalupa was born on Nov. 22, 1931, in Offenbach, Germany, to Johann Peter and Marie (Hebbel) Horn. She married Ferd Chalupa on July 22, 1977 in North Liberty.
