KALONA ? Ann Moeller, 72, of Kalona, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a courageous battle with cancer.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Kalona United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gerry Kahler officiating. Burial will follow at the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for the Kalona Historical Society, the Kalona United Methodist Church and Iowa City Hospice.
Mrs. Moeller was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Rock Island, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Marguerite (Kinney) Rounds. She married Larry Moeller on Sept. 7, 1963.
She graduated from Alleman High School in Rock Island, Ill., and attended Marycrest College for two years. She was an antiques dealer and owned and operated Ann?s Antiques in Rock Island, Ill., and Davenport, and English River Antiques in Kalona. She was a member of the Kalona United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, knitting, garage sales, and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Larry, of Kalona; one daughter, Colleen Hart and husband Larry of Riverside; two sons, Brad Moeller of Davenport, and Rod Moeller and wife Melanie of Bettendorf; six grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Randy Moeller and wife Debbie of Walcott, and Kevin Moeller and wife Jody of Walcott; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
