Anna Mae Estle, 77, of Batavia, IA, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020,
at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, IA. A graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the Batavia Cemetery in Batavia, IA, with Pastor Kelly Peavey officiating. A visitation will be held from 500 p.m. until 700 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020, at the Cranston Family Funeral Home in Fairfield. The family will not be present during this time. Masks and social distancing will be required. Memorial contributions in Anna's honor may be directed to the family. Friends may leave online condolences at www.cranstonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
Anna Mae Estle was born on April 22, 1943, in Talleyrand, IA, to Clarence and Bertha Buch Kiefer. She attended school in Pleasant Plain, where she graduated with the class of 1961. Shortly after graduation she was united in marriage to Jim Estle. Anna enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, and collecting green glassware. She also cherished time spent with family and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Estle; a daughter in infancy, Ruth Ann; and one sister, Joanne Leudeman.
Left to share her story is her daughter, Rose (Ron) Stiles of Batavia, IA; two grandchildren, Joshua (Larissa Paxton) Stiles and Jacob (Dakota Chickering) Stiles; one brother, Robert (Marie) Kiefer of East Pleasant Plain; as well as many extended family and friends.
