Anna Marie (Mougin) Stevens, 78, of Hiawatha, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021, at the Winneshiek Medical Center

in Decorah. A private family graveside service will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Anna Marie was born on September 25, 1942, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of John and Bernadette (Knebel) Mougin. She was the much-loved middle child in a family of nine. Ann graduated from the University of Iowa in 1964. She taught elementary school for many years at Grant Elementary and Wilson Middle School in Cedar Rapids. She married William "Bill" Stevens on June 25, 1993. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her siblings: Melvin (Dolores) Mougin, Louis (Christy) Mougin, Clarence (Dorothy) Mougin, Joseph (Charlotte) Mougin, Robert (Jane) Mougin, Rita Loving and Mary Ellen (Randy) Fulton; brother-in-law, Fred Livermore; daughter, Tracy (Todd) Beaton; and grandchildren, Ryan and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; her sister, Jeanette Livermore; and brother-in-law, David Loving.

Ann was incredibly kind to everyone she met. In memory of Ann, the family has asked that you share an act of kindness.
