Anna May Piatt

Anna May Piatt, 90, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of rural Lockridge, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mount Pleasant.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kimzey Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Regan D. Stoops officiating. Burial will be in New Sweden Lutheran Cemetery, rural Lockridge.

Visitation is from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with family present from 6:30-8 p.m.

A memorial has been established to New Sweden Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Piatt was born May 12, 1920, near Four Corners, the daughter of Oscar Frederick and Emma Patience Heuston Lillyblade. She married Orel H. French Feb. 25, 1938. The couple later divorced. She married Denver Piatt Sept. 13, 1959. He preceded her in death.
