Anthony J. Wellman February 25, 1948 - June 13, 2005

Anthony John "Tony" Wellman, 57, of Fort Madison, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2005, at his home.

      The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16 at the Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Madison. Burial with full military rites by the West Point American Legion Post #668 will be at the Keokuk National Cemetery. Visitation will be after noon on Wednesday, June 15 at Link Funeral Home in West Point, with family present from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

Survivors include a son, Kevin and his wife Heather Wellman of Fort Madison; a daughter, Carrie Kramer of Fort Madison; four grandchildren; four brothers, Mike and his wife Karen Wellman of Fort Madison, Bill and his wife Enid Wellman of Burlington, LeRoy and his wife Annie Wellman of West Point, and Martin and his wife Deanna Wellman of Denmark.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
