Archie M. Christner March 4, 1913 - November 21, 2003

Archie Melvin Christner, 90, of Washington, formerly of the White Oak Community west of Trenton, died on Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at the Washington Care Center.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Roy Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for the White Oak Cemetery.

      Survivors include a son, LaVerne and his wife Elma Christner of Ocean Park, Wash.; three daughters, Juanita and her husband Dwight Graber of Washington, Linda and her husband Don Johnson of Washougal, Wash., and Sharon and her husband Steve Sanaghan of Lockridge; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

      In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dale Christner, a sister, Alta Krabill and a son, Gerald.
