Ardith D. Neff

MT. PLEASANT - Ardith D. Neff, 67, of Winfield, formerly of Salina and Pleasant Plain, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, in the Henry County Health Center emergency room in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 in the Weir and Kimsey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Clarence L. Anderson of the Salina Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the New London Junior Baseball Association.

      Mrs. Neff was born Sept. 3, 1940 in rural Trenton, the daughter of Chester Earl and Carrie (Alter) Messer. She married Fred Allen Neff on Nov. 26, 1961. They later divorced.
