Arlene J. Frank, 95, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Park Place Elder Living Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Arlene was born on October 8, 1928, in Henry County, the daughter of Carl and Dottie (Cooper) Wagner. She was united in marriage to Lewis Frank Jr., on December 24, 1946, he preceded her in death on June 5, 2014. Arlene worked at the Stockport Locker, worked in the kitchen at the Keosauqua Hospital, helping with nutrition and later in the cafeteria of Iowa Wesleyan College.

She is survived by her children, Steven Frank of Littleton, Colorado, Dennis Frank of Columbia, Missouri, Marcalan Frank of Mt. Pleasant, Shirley Fitzer of Colorado Springs, Ernest Frank and Susan Frank both of Mt. Pleasant, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lewis, two sons, Leonard Frank, James Frank, one grandson, one granddaughter, and her three brothers, Virgil Wagner, Chester Wagner and Leonard Wagner who was killed during WWII.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. A memorial in her memory has been established. According to her wishes cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.
