Arlene Mary Schmitt

Arlene Mary Schmitt, 72, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at her residence following a brief illness.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ed O'Melia officiating. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

      Visitation began at noon today at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will be present from 6-9 p.m. A Catholic Daughter Rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
