Arlene May Chatfield

Arlene May Chatfield, 86, of Glenwood, Minn., died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at Glenwood Retirement Village.

      A service is set for 11 a.m. Monday at Glenwood United Parish, with the Rev. Jerry Skinness and the Rev. Greg Kappahan officiating.

      Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Hoplin Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

      Another visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Fairfield. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Memorials may be directed to the Arlene Chatfield Memorial Fund with the Glenwood Dollars for Scholars program administered by Eagle Bank in Glenwood or Flaming Pines Youth Camp near Park Rapids.

      Mrs. Chatfield was born April 3, 1919, in Libertyville, the daughter of John L. and Mary E. Tweedy McCleary. She married Robert Chatfield June 3, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1995.
