Arlin David Yoder

Arlin David Yoder, 80, of Williamsburg Iowa, died Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg.

Arlin was born November 7, 1937 in Washington Iowa, to Oren and Mary Kate (Blosser) Yoder. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Lou, of Williamsburg; two sons, Douglas (Leann), Pryor, Okla., and Kevin (Rebecca), Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five grandchildren, Christina (Stephen) Arruda, Laura (Chris) Paul, Nathan (Katherine) Yoder, Leah (Jon) Arnold, Zach (Rachel) Yoder; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eldon (Phyllis) Yoder, Wellman, Iowa, Darvin (Martha) Yoder, Wellman, Iowa, and a sister, Aldeen (Eugene) Wenger, Harrisonburg, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and two great-grandsons, Noah and Simon.

Arlin and Mary Lou were Missionaries in Brazil for 15 years with Mennonite Mission Network. He pastored churches in Missouri, Arkansas, Brazil, Illinois, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 at the West Union Mennonite Church in rural Parnell. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg
