Arnett Wayne Knupp

      Arnett Wayne Knupp, 85, of Washington, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at his home, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Faith Baptist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Harald Gruber officiating. Interment will follow services in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon, Tuesday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m., and from 6:30 until 8:30 Tuesday evening. Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County, the American Cancer Society and Faith Baptist Church.

      Mr. Knupp was born March 20, 1920, in Washington, to Cloyde and Minnie (Jackson) Knupp. He married Marie Darbyshire on March 20, 1941, in Washington.
