Arthur Eugene Hill
LONE TREE-Arthur Eugene Hill, 82, of Lone Tree, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at VA Medical Center in Iowa City following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Lone Tree Cemetery, with Loren Yoder officiating. The Lone Tree American Legion Post 457 will accord military rites. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association. Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree is in charge of arrangements.
Arthur Eugene Hill was born on Oct. 6, 1920, in Marion, to Edwin and Florence (Tomlinson) Hill. He married Coral Rose Cook in 1948.
Mr. Hill graduated from Center High School near Kalona in 1939.
