Arwin W. Hothan September 16, 1923 - October 30, 2005

      Arwin W. Hothan, 82,of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at the home of his daughter, Dr. Beth Hothan-Zielinski.

      A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, after which the family will receive friends. Friends may sign the register at the memorial chapel beginning after noon on Thursday, Nov. 3. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the First United Methodist Church of Harvard, Ill., and the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include his wife, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Harvard, Ill.; two daughters, Dr. Beth Hothan-Zielinski and her husband Jim of Mt. Pleasant, and Charlotte and her husband Dr. Vincent Ang of Northbrook, Ill.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Eileen Tyson and Erna Danielson.
