COLUMBUS JUNCTION - August "Gus" Ackerman, 89, of Columbus Junction, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, at the Colonial Manor Care Center in Columbus Junction.
The body has been cremated. There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Wapello.
