Austin Reed, 65, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation for family & friends will be 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Behner Funeral Home.

Austin was born October 31, 1956, in California to Henry A. and Leonna (Trent) Reed. He married Kathleen Lidey on May 20, 1985.

Austin was self-employed in marketing and sales. While at the University of Hawaii he was on their scuba diving team. Austin was a movie buff and also enjoyed going to Disneyland and watching Disney movies. What meant the most to Austin was spending time with family and friends.

Austin will be missed by his wife, Kathleen Reed of Fairfield; his children, Brandon A Reed and Leanne "Lu Lu" (Ellton) Reed-Foster; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Vernon Reed of Temecula, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Leonna.
