Ava Hix

Ava Hix, 91, of Washington, Iowa, former Fairfield resident, died Saturday morning, February 25, 2006 at Halcyon House in Washington.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 3 at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield with Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

      On February 5, 1946 Ava married Kenneth L. Hix in McCook, Nebraska. Kenneth preceded her in death on November 25, 2001.
