Avon Warren Simmons
Avon Warren Simmons, 79, of Burlington, died at 10:20 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, at the Klein Center of Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
The funeral service was at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, at Lunning Chapel in Burlington. Visitation began at 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the family present from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral service. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. A memorial has been established.
