Barbara A. Kounelis

      Barbara A. Kounelis, a loving wife and cherished mother and grandmother, died April 22, 2008 at the Bronson Adult Medical Unit in Kalamazoo. Wife of John M. Kounelis for 43 years, Barbara was born March 25, 1930 in Ottumwa, IA to the late Eugene and Rowena (Carter) Billeter. A memorial service will take place, Friday the 25th, 12:00 noon, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., Portage. Rev. James Dyke will officiate the services. Family will greet and visit with friends from 10:00-12:00, two hours prior to the service.
