Barbara Ann Hawkins

      Barbara Ann Hawkins, 67, of Fairfield, formerly of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at home.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Kevin Gingerich officiating. Burial will be in the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bloomfield.

      Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to her grandchildren's education fund and Indian Hills Foundation.

      Mrs. Hawkins was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Thomas and Beulah Leighton Orman. She married James Lewis Hawkins Oct. 12, 1958, in Bloomfield. He died May 24, 1994.
