Barbara D. Rhinehart, 76, of Victor, passed away on April 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family, hospice and much love. A celebration of life will be held privately with close family.

Barbara was born on February 11, 1948 to Lawrence and Martha (Price) Merck in Belle Plaine, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Ronald Rhinehart on June 29, 1968 in Victor, Iowa. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family. Barb always looked forward to Saturday Coffee with her siblings. Her favorite role in life was being “Nana” to her grandgirls.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ron; her son, Jeff (Lisa) Rhinehart and daughter, Wendy Schafbuch both of Victor; grandchildren, Kendra (Drew) Doehrmann, Shelbee and Morgan Rhinehart; great-grandson Beau Doehrmann; siblings, Karen (Paul) Kuesel, Kathy (Dave) Miller and Ken Merck.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Martha and her nephew, Todd Miller.
