Barbara L. Youde Feburary 28, 1919 - August 4, 2005

      Barbara L. Youde, 86, of Fort Madison, died at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 3005, at her home.

      The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19 at St. John United Church of Christ, with Pastor Cheryl Simpson officiating. A time of fellowship and food will follow the memorial service in the church hall. Burial will be in City Cemetery in Fort Madison. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to the time of service on Friday, Aug. 19 at the church. A memorial has been established to St. John United Church of Christ. King-Lynk Funeral Home in Fort Madison is in charge of arrangements.

      Survivors include a sister, Paula Hansen of Mt. Pleasant.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
