Barbara M. Kruse

      Barbara M. Kruse, 86, of Houghton, died at 12:05 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006, at the Henry County Health Center.

      The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, at St. John's Catholic Church in Houghton with Fr. Gary Beckman as celebrant. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Houghton.

      Visitation began at 1 p.m. today at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a wake service at 7 p.m.

      A memorial has been established to the St. John's Catholic Church.

      Mrs. Kruse was born Oct. 12, 1919, at St. Paul, the daughter of Herman and Bernadine Mueller Dingman. On Jan. 12, 1943, at St. Paul, she married Walter H. Kruse.
