Barbara Sue Mercer

      Barbara Sue Mercer, 68, of Fairfield, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at home.

      A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating.

      Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association. Cards and memorials may be sent to 2111 Osage Ave., Fairfield 52556.

      Mrs. Mercer was born July 17, 1938, in Fairfield, the daughter of Robert J. and Frances Opal Black Prunty. She married Dennis Lee Mercer Oct. 31, 1952, in Fairfield.
