Beatrice B. Bencke April 12, 1907 - April 27, 2004

Beatrice B. Bencke, 97, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Regency Nursing Home in Springfield, Ill.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 3 at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 2 at the funeral home with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Madeline and her husband Albert Roy of Springfield, Ill.; and three grandchildren and five great-granddaughters.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl and Gilbert Pugh; and two sisters, Blanche Lenning and Elsie Moore.
