Beaulah M. Manning, 90, of rural Mt. Pleasant passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Beaulah was born on February 3, 1932, in Henry County, Iowa the daughter of Lester and Mary (Sinn) Hill. She was united in marriage to Earl “Bud” Manning on June 1, 1951. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2010. Beaulah worked at Metro mail in Mt. Pleasant for 30 years. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Wally.

She is survived by her children, Mary Jo Richard of Wayland, Ernie Manning of Mt. Pleasant, Tim Manning of Dallas, Texas, Jack Manning of Burlington, Steve Manning of Atlanta, Georgia, Connie Taylor of New London, Terry Manning of Burlington, Kathy Manning of Atlanta, Georgia, Denny Manning of Salem and Bradley Manning of Atlanta, Georgia, along with 25 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, Johnnie Hill, Art Hill, Gary Hill, Thelma Bush, Mildred Rich and Violet McGuire.

Beaulah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Mark Manning, three grandchildren, Matthew Manning, Amy Richard and Micah Manning, three brothers, Dwight Hill, Dennis Hill and Marvin Hill, and one sister, Linda Underwood.

According to her wishes cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Private family services will be held. Burial will be held in the Cottonwood Cemetery, rural Wayland.
