Ben R. Biggs

Ben R. Biggs, 72, of rural Birmingham died at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.

      A service is set for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds.

      Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the family present from 7-8 p.m. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 21563 110th St., Birmingham 52535.

      Mr. Biggs was born June 21, 1933, in Arbelo, Mo., the son of Robert E. and Martha Russell Biggs. He married Ethel Laughlin July 23, 1976 in Keosauqua.
